I grew up with camera in hand, spending lazy afternoons pouring over family photographs and directing photo shoots with friends.

My camera felt like another limb, and photography became a natural way of experiencing the world and making memories.  After exploring just about every corner of portrait photography, I earned my master’s degree in 2021 to pursue my other passion: psychotherapy.

A year later, I stepped into weddings and something clicked. Since then, I’ve built a life that blends both paths, splitting my time between running a private practice and wedding photography.

I live in Chicago with my "pack" (my husband Yang, and our two heelers, Lumi and Bug!) When I’m not shooting, I'm content with the peace and quiet of home—instant coffee in hand, enjoying Yang’s cooking, or unwinding with a good show. I equally love traveling, wandering through small shops and cozy cafés, and exploring Chicago's food scene.​​​​

My style is documentary-editorial, blending candids with intentionally crafted portraits. Much of the day I blend in and act as a quiet observer, so your gallery reflects the day as it happened: you two walking together, happy tears, and moments you didn't even know happened. Curiosity and spontaneity guide the way I photograph, allowing space for your day to unfold naturally.

For stylized portraits, I step into the role of gentle guide & creative director. My couples appreciate my ability to guide them through the process, so you never have to guess about what to do or where to be. I strive to create heirlooms that feel beautiful, true to you, and timeless, without ever feeling forced.

And, as a 2024 bride, I understand both the joy and the complexity of planning a wedding—and how important it is to stay present within it!
